The following incidents were obtained from Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• At about 11:50 a.m. on Feb. 1 a resident near Moncks Corner repeatedly called 911 asking for a cup of coffee. This is considered a nonessential reason for an emergency and misuse of 911. He was advised of the consequences. The subject called twice.

On the second call he asked EMS to pick him up and take him to get a cup of coffee. The subject was arrested for misuse of 911.

• On Jan. 31 a man residing near Moncks Corner reported that his guns had been stolen from his residence. He said earlier in the month his cleaning lady talked to him and showed an interest in firearms. The victim said she was the only person who has been in his house. The next day when the victim went to retrieve his 9MM Ruger P85 pistol and his Walther PPK380 they were missing.

The guns have a total estimated value of $1,200.

• On Jan. 31 a man reported that sometime in the last two days someone had stolen more than $3,000 of his tools and tree climbing gear from his boom truck parked in his front yard near Moncks Corner. The tool storage doors were not locked on the vehicle. The stolen items include a saw, a hammer drill, three chain saws, hand tools, climbing gaffs and a tree climbing saddle.

• A man reported on Feb. 1 that he went to a boat landing in Cross and left his vehicle and boat trailer in the parking lot. When he came back several hours later he heard a truck leaving with what sounded like a trailer. He suspected it might be his boat trailer. His suspicion turned out to be correct. The trailer was not locked on the hitch but was still connected to the truck.

The 17-foot black trailer is valued at $1,000.
