Photo Provided ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Language) students at Berkeley Middle School recently presented research projects to their friends and family at a parent night held by their teacher, Melanie Brooks. Sixth-grade guidance counselor Patricia Hill also presented information on accessing Parent Portal and opportunities for extra help through the after-school tutoring program. Pictured are Brian Lozoria Perez, Brisa Garcia-Gomez, Gregoria Soto-Prieto, Nery Matias-Librado, Brooks, Teresa Penaloza-Sandoval, Esteban Oliveros and Maxi Penaloza.
