Timberland High School celebrated Coming Home Week for basketball and spring sports Jan. 21-24.
The week culminated in the naming of the Queens and King at the pep rally, which is voted on by the student body. Miss Renae Lewis is the 2014 Coming Home Queen; first runner-up is Miss Joyce Dantzler; and second runner-up is Miss Share-elle Gerald. The King is Darelle Pressley.
Congratulations to these students and their families and to the student body. A big thanks to goes to Julie Izykowski for sponsoring and coordinating Coming Home Week.
St. Stephen Elementary has announced several upcoming events that the public is invited and encouraged to attend.
A Parents as Leaders Class is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 5 in the Parenting Room. On Feb. 10 a Title I Planning Meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Parenting Room.The PTO/ Family Leadership Night will be held in the SSE Multi-Purpose Room at 6 p.m. Contact Rosalind Banks for more information.
