Berkeley schools on normal schedule Friday

After two-and-a-half days off, students will return to school Friday as ice melts and temperatures rise.

The Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2 will return to a normal schedule on Friday. Charleston County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Friday.

Forecasts for Friday call for a high temperature of 58 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of about 40 degrees, with high temperatures rising into the mid-60s on Saturday and low-70s Sunday. No rain is forecast over the weekend.
