  • Monday, January 27, 2014

Each schoolís half-day dismissal schedule is listed here as seen on the districtís website here, http://www.berkeley.k12.sc.us/files/filesystem/Bell%20Schedule%202013-2014%202.pdf.

Berkeley County School District students will be dismissed after half a day Tuesday.

In anticipation of the possibility of sleet and/or freezing rain Tuesday afternoon, BCSD has also cancelled all after-school activities and events. This includes ball games, club meetings, practices, day care etc.

Thatís according to the school districtís website, www.bcsdschools.net.

For each schoolís early dismissal schedule, check http://www.berkeley.k12.sc.us/files/filesystem/Bell%20Schedule%202013-2014%202.pdf.

A decision will be made later Monday concerning any possibility of early dismissal or the cancelling of school for Tuesday, according to the district.

The regularly scheduled Jan. 28 school board meeting in Moncks Corner has been rescheduled for Feb. 4.

In the event of an additional schedule change, BCSD will keep families informed by using a variety of tools including posting updates here and on the district homepage, sharing information with local media outlets, and using the districtís parent notification system.

If you receive any message regarding a schedule change, please ensure that the message is coming from Berkeley County School District in South Carolina, as there are other states with Berkeley schools.
