American Heritage Girls
The American Heritage Girls meet the first and third Monday at Victory Baptist Church each month.
They have been learning more about each other, as well as about the importance of praying for each other and the meaning of being thankful over the holidays.
The girls recently enjoyed a Martial Arts guest, and a caroling trip to some shut-ins in the community.
The girls are collecting basic essentials for those in need to be delivered mid February.
They are looking for things that will fit in a gallon size Ziploc bag. Items needed include bottled water, tooth brush/tooth paste, sunscreen, chapstick, energy/granola bars, socks, etc. Rules are anything that will not melt or rot and can fit in the bag will be accepted, with no sharp objects.
If you can help the girls out they want to deliver as many bags as possible. Donations can be dropped off at Victory Baptist Church or contact April at 843-749-0945 to arrange a pick-up.
