Bee all that you can bee

Photo Provided Cross Elementary School Sixth Grade Spelling Bee participants were Taliya Johnson, Kentrell Moore, Cortez Gonzalez, Jhanira Jefferson, Jakayla Richburg and Nadajah Whitten. All of the spellers studied hard for the recent competition and did a fantastic job. Cortez Gonzalez came in first place and will attend the district Spelling Bee on Jan. 23. Jakayla Richburg came in second place and will be CES’s alternate. Dr. Renee Nouvelle was the officiator and the pronouncer. The judges were Marquita Deas, Teffanie Uwalor, and Dr. Lorie Willis. CES would like to congratulate all of its wonderful spellers for a job well done.
