The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Moncks Corner man for possession of stolen weapons and illegal narcotics charges.

Arthur Roy Houston, 26, was arrested Jan. 3 at his residence on Maplewood Road after deputies found nine guns at the home. Five of the guns were confirmed stolen during a burglary on Cane Gully Road on Dec. 19, according to BCSO.

The weapons were recovered.

The investigation continues in an attempt to determine if any of the other four weapons are stolen.

Houston was also charged with possession of cocaine base and marijuana possession.
