Lowcountry AIDS Services kicked off the 10th annual Shopping With Friends with a pre-shopping evening out. The first “Casablanca Night” Ball was Dec. 6 at Hibernian Hall.
Local jazz musician Charlton Singleton presented a 14-piece big band and guests – decked out in 1940s glamour attire – enjoyed a Moroccan banquet and open bar.
The following day more than 75 retail and restaurant partners and sponsots participated in Shopping With Friends, donating 10 percent of the day’s sales to Lowcountry AIDS Services.
