St. Stephen ready for Christmas celebrations

The annual Town of St. Stephen Christmas Tree Lighting, Tree Walk and Parade will be on Friday Dec. 6 this year.

Participants will line up for parade at 6 p.m. and it will begin at 6:30. After the parade, everybody will gather for the annual lighting of the Town Christmas Tree and the many Christmas Trees surrounding the walking track in the Alice Price Park. Santa will be there for the children to visit and give Christmas wish lists.

Coastal Center Christmas Parade

The South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs Coastal Center, 9995 Miles Jamison Road in Ladson, will host their annual Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 7. The line-up for parade will be 10:30 a.m. and it will begin 11. Everyone is invited to attend. If more information is needed, contact Natalie Britt 873-5750 ext. 5819.
