Macedonia Middle School is collecting canned foods and raising money for turkeys to provide 10 Christmas meals for families in the community. They will accept donations through Dec. 12.
MMS Zaxby’s night is Dec. 10 from 5-8 p.m. Also, they will be having their Winter Band Concert on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 1:15 p.m.
Providence Baptist Church will have a Christmas Singing service on Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. The public is invited to join as Providence worships our Lord’s birth.
The Community Prayer Meeting held at Hickory Grove PH Church on Wednesday, Nov. 20 was very successful with a large turnout. Everyone enjoyed a good time of prayer and afterwards had a delicious traditional Thanksgiving Meal in the fellowship hall.
Oak Grove PH Youth will have their annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Dec. 18 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They will be having spaghetti, garlic bread, a salad bar and brownies with ice cream. All you can eat is $6 for adults and $4 for children (2-10). To-go plates are $5.
