Coastal Center Christmas Parade set for Dec. 7

The S.C. Department of Disabilities and Special Needs Coastal Center (9995 Miles Jamison Road in Ladson) will host its annual Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 7. A warm-hearted invitation is extended to an agency/organization/group who would consider decorating a float to be in the Christmas parade or assist the residents in this parade.

The line-up for parade will be 10:30 a.m. and will begin 11. The parade is part of the Coastal Center’s annual activities. One of the main objectives of this activity is to foster community spirit and awareness amongst the residents of the community and of the Coastal Center.

The Coastal Center’s purpose was designed to assist, accommodate and ameliorate with day to daycare for individuals that are physically and or mentally disabled.

Christmas Concert

The annual Christmas concert to be held at the Pineville Chapel in Pineville will be on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. Van High and Friends will present the music and a reception will be held.
