The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce has several upcoming events in December.
On Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 6-7 p.m. at Daniel Island Elementary School, state, county and City of Charleston representatives along with the Berkeley County Supervisor will conduct an informal briefing on current road projects and status and time line of future infrastructure plans concerning Daniel Island and surrounding areas.
Other topics will be addressed including recycling and emergency services.
The December Business Mixer is set for 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 at Moncks Corner Medical Center (401 North Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner).
The event is free for members and $10 for non-members.
A session on the status of the “One Cent Sales Tax” road projects is set for 8 a.m. at Hampton Inn (1015 Jockey Court in Summerville) on Friday, Dec. 13. The cost is $10 for members and $25 for non-members. Berkeley County Engineer Frank Carson will be on hand to share information on various road projects.
