Dorothy D. Bobbitt

Dorothy Delores Bobbitt of Bonneau Beach died on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 3, 2013 in a North Charleston hospital. She was 66.

Surviving are her husband, Danny Lee Bobbitt; a daughter, Patricia Carol Faison of Bonneau Beach; two sisters, Diane Johnson and her husband, Roy, of Chesterfield, VA, and Sharon Slate and her husband, Norman, of Chester, VA; a brother, Robert Turner of Dinwiddie, VA; three grandchildren, Michael Allen Whitton and his wife, Britani, Cory Branch Whitton, and Courtney Elizabeth Whitton; two great-grandchildren, Bryleigh Grace Whitton and Chace Alex Whitton; her mother-in-law, Mary Louise Bobbitt; a brother-in-law, Ralph J. Tanner; and many loving nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.

E. Dennis Moore

Eddie “Dennis” Moore of Summerville, a retired truck driver with Duncan Portion Pak, died at his home in Summerville on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013. He was 80.

Surviving are two children, Denise Moore Hall and her husband, Don, of Kernersville, NC., and Dennis Moore Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Summerville; three grandchildren; a step-grandson; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Singletary (Joseph) Daning, and Pat Conyers; stepmother Mary Crumby of Cross; former spouse/caregiver Betty Moore; three stepchildren; four step-brothers; and one step-sister.

Lorena M. Richburg

Lorena Mitchum Richburg of Moncks Corner, a retired food service employee for Berkeley Elementary School, died Sunday morning, Nov. 3, 2013 at Harvest Health and Rehabilitation of Johns Island. She was 91.

Surviving are two grandsons, Russ Richburg and his wife, Nilde, of Brentwood, CA, and Rick Richburg and his wife, Tanya, of James Island; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
