St. Stephen Elementary was recently awarded the “Sharing the Dream Grant.” This grant is awarded to schools that get students involved in transformative experiences. School principal Dr. Elaine Norton wrote the grant, and SSE has been awarded the grant two years in a row. The money is used to bring a scientist to St. Stephen Elementary four times in a school year. The scientist, Jennifer Aikman with High Touch High Tech, works with all students in grades 3-5.  Above fifth grade students work with Aikman to learn about ocean currents.
