A Semi-Mental Journey: An Afternoon with Ann Caldwell will be held November 17, 2013 at 20 Queen Street, home of the Footlight Players. Ann Caldwell is a vocalist and performing artist who sings songs about love, loss, heartache and heaven. She has been a fixture on the Charleston music scene for more than two decades. Caldwell has appeared in “Porgy and Bess” and Clay Rice’s musical production “Lowcountry Legends.” She is a vocalist with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Pops concerts as well as a featured artist for the Lowcountry Aid to Africa annual gala in Charleston. The concert will also feature Roger Bellows and Oscar Rivers. Joining them will be Rily Hart, Pete Constantine and John Tecklenburg.
A Semi-Mental Journey: An Afternoon with Ann Caldwell Featuring Roger Bellow with Oscar Rivers will begin with a wine reception at 3:30 p.m. followed by the concert at 5 p.m. Caldwell will regale us with nostalgic tunes from the Big Band Era for a delightful afternoon.
