Sangaree double murder suspect Jacob Philip has been extradited to Berkeley County. He was taken to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner the afternoon of Oct. 11, according to Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dan Moon.

Bond was not set for Philip as he waived his right to a bond hearing, according to reports.

He is charged with the murders of 26-year-old Ashley Kaney and her 8-year-old daughter Riley Burdick. Their bodies were found in their Sangaree home on Kershaw Road on Oct. 1. Philip was arrested the evening of Oct. 1 in Virginia Beach, Va.
