FamilyCorps, a private, nonprofit organization that strengthens families by providing parents and other caregivers with support, education and resources using evidenced-based programs and practices, is hosting its annual oyster roast fundraiser next month.
The fourth annual Shuckin’ for a Cause will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 6–9 p.m. at the Isle of Palms Exchange Club, 201 Palm Blvd., Isle of Palms.
Tickets are $20 and include barbecue and all the fixings, two drink tickets, live music by Analog Daze and a silent auction.
FamilyCorps seeks to transform a child’s life byt transforming the parents first. Children look up to their parents and caregivers – no matter who they are – and emulate their actions. FamilyCorps focuses on transforming parents to break the cycle of abuse and neglect.
