SCUMP girls youth soccer team wins local tournament

The South Carolina United-Mount Pleasant ‘00 girls elite soccer team won the 2013 Charleston Women’s Shootout. The girls played up an age group, and did not concede a goal in the four-game tournament. They had previously won the Tophat Puma Cup in Atlanta in August. During the Charleston Women’s Shootout, the girls beat CESA ‘99 Premier, 4-0; Charlotte United ‘99, 4-0; tied WCWAA ‘99, 0-0; and beat SC United Columbia ‘99 Palmetto, 2-0.
