On Friday, Oct. 11 at 6:30 p.m., Camp Happy Days will host their third annual Wine Down the Summer event. This annual event hosted by Camp Happy Days is a celebration of summer and a fundraiser benefiting year round programs for South Carolina’s children fighting cancer. This year Wine Down the Summer will take place at 43 Society Street at the home of Leslie Turner. Come and enjoy wine, beer, a specialty cocktail, food, music and a silent auction. Some of the silent auctions items include: Kiawah Island Condo, Mountain Ski Retreat, Chetola Lodge at Blowing Rock, Southwest tickets and much more.
Tickets are $50 per person and include appetizers and cocktails. All donations and winning bids on silent auction items are all tax-deductible. To purchase tickets or for more information about Wine Down the Summer or Camp Happy Days please call 843-571-4336.
Since 1981, Camp Happy Days has offered support and encouragement to children diagnosed with cancer and their families by providing cost free year-round programs, special events and access to crisis resources.
