Join The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center (DNLCC) to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Bus Shed Bash on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. Enjoy oysters, BBQ, beverages, a silent auction and live music at the Charleston Visitor Center Bus Shed while learning about the mission of DNLCC and helping raise awareness about the issue of child abuse and the healing resources available at DNLCC.
The fundraiser is returning to its original venue to celebrate a decade of hope and healing for abused children in the community. DNLCC Development Associate Elizabeth Cole said DNLCC is excited to return to the Bus Shed, and is “confident that this year will be another record breaking event raising more funds and friends.” All proceeds from the Bus Shed Bash will go directly to support the critical services for abused children and their families seen at DNLCC.
Individual tickets for the event cost $30 in advance, $40 at the door and are available for purchase online at www.dnlcc.org. For more information about Bus Shed Bash, please contact Elizabeth Cole at 843-723-3600.
DNLCC is a Children’s Advocacy Center that provides assessment, treatment and support services to children and their families when there is a concern of abuse. Our mission is to keep children safe from abuse and when abuse occurs, to work with our community to bring healing to these children and their families.
