A group of teenagers and parent chaperones (from left) Rachel Whitbeck, Erin Hynd, Roman Shrompil, Aleks Shtompil, Elise Hynd, Alex Bourland, Grace Whitbeck, Madison Sosebee, Miles Hudgins, Sophie Wachowski and Olivia Brisson embarked on an educational trip of a lifetime to Italy from June 14-22. They visited Milan, Verona, Venice, Assisi, Florence, Rome and Pompeii. Along the way they took a gondola ride, saw The David, visited the Colosseum, Vatican City, observed glass-blowing and leather-making demonstrations and much more. They posed for a photo with the Moultrie News at the Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy. (Rachel Mullinax, Alex Breitinger and Stevie Barto also made the trip, but are not pictured.)
