Berkeley County 4-H Youth Development Programs will conduct a meeting for those interested in learning how to start local 4-H clubs. The meeting is set for St. Peters AME Church, 1299 Mendel Rivers Road in Bonneau on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The meeting is for adults who are interested in finding out more about 4-H opportunities available for youth (and adults), requirements for starting a club, volunteering, etc. Local clubs are organized and led by local volunteers who receive training and guidance from the 4-H agent.
Persons interested in providing options for local youth to help them become, healthy, productive, contributing members of society are invited to attend.
