What: College of Charleston’s REACH Program Scholarship Gala

Where: Daniel Island Club
Details: The gala is held every year to raise scholarship money for REACH students. This year, the program hopes to raise over $150,000 to help the nearly 30 students currently in the program. The REACH Program at the College of Charleston is a four-year, fully inclusive certificate program for students with mild intellectual disabilities. The program provides students with a complete college experience allowing them to explore and realize both their intellectual and personal potential. The REACH Program promotes four pillars of success — academics, increased social skills, development of independent living skills and career development. The gala will feature both a silent and a live auction with items ranging from golf at the acclaimed TPC Sawgrass course to tickets to Disney World along with gift certificates to local restaurants and retail stores.
