Cross shooting suspect arrested

A suspect has been arrested in a shooting that took place Sept. 16 on Mudville Road in Cross, according to a statement released by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
Lewis Warren Clark has been arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
Two people were shot during a dispute between neighbors. One of the victims was shot in the mouth and remained at MUSC as of Sept. 18, according to BCSO.
Clark was released Sept. 18 after bond was set at $130,000 for all three charges, according to Hill-Finklea Detention Center records.
