Lennar introduces Lindera Preserve

  • Sunday, September 8, 2013

On Saturday, August 24, Lennar, one of the nation’s top homebuilders, hosted the Lindera Living Welcome Home Event at Lindera Preserve, welcoming new residents and potential homebuyers to the community. During the event, Lennar officially announced a partnership with Palmetto Goodwill, further demonstrating their commitment to the communities where they build.

Developed by the leadership at the two organizations, the partnership supports Lennar homebuyers who are either looking to donate old items or shop for their new homes. A similar geographic footprint across the Lowcountry for both Lennar and Goodwill reinforced the mutually beneficial relationship for the residents in the area.

“We’re not just about building homes. We’re helping create communities and neighborhoods,” said Jason Byham, director of sales and marketing of Lennar Coastal Carolinas Division. “As we continue to grow in the area, we want to give back to the community through area nonprofits. Goodwill is an important nonprofit with a phenomenal team, and they service the areas where we build communities. We look forward to supporting them as a partner.”

The family-friendly event welcomed the community to experience southern living in Lindera Preserve, Lennar’s top selling community in Cane Bay. Guests enjoyed a Lowcountry shrimp boil, jump castle village, face painting, snow cones, balloon artists, and live music. Goodwill hosted a Back to School Fashion Show featuring the latest trends and styles. Further benefiting Goodwill, guests were encouraged to bring donation items and registered to win a 50-inch television from Lennar, resulting in generous donations for stores across the Lowcountry.

“Goodwill is always looking for new ways to reach out to the community and serve them better, while educating our neighbors on our mission,” said Bob Smith, president and CEO of Palmetto Goodwill. “We are excited about this partnership with Lennar, and the opportunities for outreach and engagement it will provide in the areas we serve. This event is just the beginning, and we look forward to many more exciting things to come.”

Lindera Preserve is a unique community with amenities such as a junior Olympic resort-style pool and bath cabana, picnic area, dog park, multiple playgrounds, walking trails, lakes, and nature preserve. This multi-million dollar amenity is the largest of its kind for Lennar Charleston.

Situated in the Cane Bay development, Lindera Preserve is in high demand and is the first of many new Lennar communities that will feature new model homes, open floor plans, more included features and more upgrade options – plus a multi-million-dollar amenity center. There are approximately 450 home sites available at Lindera Preserve, featuring single-family homes ranging from 1,614 square feet to 3,566 square feet. Located minutes from downtown Summerville, home prices in Lindera Preserve range from the high $100s to the low $300s

Homebuyers in all Lennar communities benefit from Lennar’s signature Everything’s Included program, offering desirable luxury features included in the base price. Optional items at other builders are included at no additional cost, where normally these features would cost the homebuyer thousands of dollars more – providing the true price of the home to every customer, every day.
