St. Stephen native Bakari Prioleau became a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force's Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, AL on Aug. 6.
Second Lieutenant Prioleau was one of the first Air National Guardsmen to ever complete the program, earning high regards during his training.
As an 11-year veteran, Lieutenant Prioleau has completed multiple tours of duty in the Middle East to support key initiatives as well as Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Lieutenant Prioleau is a 2007 graduate of the University of South Carolina. He will report for duty as a Security Forces officer at McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Eastover, SC.
