GED prep course offered at SSE
A GED preparation course will be offered this fall at St. Stephen Elementary School (1053 Russellville Road in St. Stephen).
Registration will be held at the school on Monday, Sept. 9 and Tuesday Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. both days. Be prepared to stay 2 ½ hours.
The GED class is schedule to be on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Classes will end on Dec. 10. The registration fee is free.
For those who qualify, Free WorkKeys Testing will be available.

MSG Bobby J. Matthews of the Cross High School JROTC Department will facilitate the second annual community wide blood drive at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church on Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The church is located at 272 Hwy. 45 in St. Stephen.

Mental Health Event
In efforts to break the stigma of mental illness the Lowcountry Mental Health Group will be having a prayer walk/educational/and awareness event on Saturday, Oct. 26.
This important event is now in the planning stage.

Bring Sam Home
A family has lost their white male Maltese who went missing from their home near the Berkeley Country Club in Moncks Corner. Sam has been missing since Aug. 2 and weighs 4.6 pounds. His family is very anxious for him to return home. A reward is being offered.
