Art exhibition under way

The 23rd Annual Juried Art Competition and Exhibition began on Aug. 24 and will continue through Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Interpretive Center at the Old Santee Canal Park (900 Stony Landing Road, Moncks Corner). 
Artists from all over the state will compete for cash awards,  Purchase awards, and the People’s Choice award.  
People visiting the show can vote for their favorite piece of artwork.
The Juror for the event is Rick Rienert.
A reception will be held on Sept. 8 from 5 until
7 p.m. to meet and honor the artists as well as enjoy their artwork.
