BCSO: Arrest made in shooting

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with the shooting that occurred over this past weekend.
The BCSO announced the arrest in a release Tuesday afternoon.
Shaquille Mileak Jamal Washington, 17, of 1009 Saint Irving Dr. in Huger, was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with murder.
The shooting happened about 4 a.m. Sunday morning at “A Place In The Woods” located at 1020 Hamlin Corner Road just off Cainhoy Road.  The victim was found severely wounded in the parking lot of the building and transported to a Mount Pleasant hospital there he died a short time later.
Washington is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
