Prepare your medical coders for the change from ICD-9 to ICD-10

  • Thursday, August 22, 2013

Prepare your medical office coders for the new International Classification of Diseases (ICD) 10 CM/PCS with a four-month online training course. With the conversion from ICD-9 to ICD-10 mandated by October 2014, proper coding will mean the financial success or failure of a medical facility.

All training is conducted by instructors who are approved by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

This course is offered through Trident Technical College’s Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development, and meets from Sept. 23 to Feb. 11, 2014. Cost is $529. Required textbooks are approximately $293 and available in the TTC bookstore.

To register, call 843-574-6152 or visit www.tridenttech.edu/ce.htm.
