Prepare for health insurance exchange with free program in Columbia

Join Consumers Choice Health Plan in Columbia on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for MarketSHIFT 2013.

For the first time in the nation’s history, the health insurance market is changing to a retail market. Hear the latest from national and state experts from the South Carolina Department of Insurance and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

There will also be panel discussions with community leaders, health insurance brokers and health care providers. Don’t miss your opportunity to have a “seat at the table” as South Carolinians get ready for this new health insurance retail market.

The keynote speaker will be Ernie Csiszar, former S.C. Department of Insurance director.

There will also be broker/navigator, health care provider and community leader panels.

MarketSHIFT will take place at the Columbia Conference Center, 169 Laurelhurst Avenue.

Breakfast, lunch and networking will be provided. The seminar is free.
