Too coincidental

  • Friday, August 16, 2013

A woman called police because her car had been keyed on both sides while parked in her driveway. The victim told police she suspected it was a disgruntled ex-coworker who may have done it.

The victim explained to police that the suspect lost her job recently. Coincidentally, the suspect lives in the same neighborhood as the victim. Even more coincidentally, the suspect was house sitting next door for the last several nights.

Police went next door to question the suspect who said she did not see or hear anything suspicious other than dogs barking early that morning. There was no evidence tying the suspect to the vandalism.
