A local chapter of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is scheduled to begin Sept. 9 at Pointe North Community Church in Moncks Corner.
MOPS is a program designed to nurture mothers with children from birth through Kindergarten. Meetings will be held the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Each meeting is filled with creative activities, snacks, an encouraging speaker, group discussions and social time with other moms. While moms enjoy special “me” time, children enjoy crafts, bible stories, snacks and play. There are fees for joining MOPS, but the first meeting is free.
An informative MOPS play date will take pace at Dr. Lacey Park in Moncks Corner on Aug. 15 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. This will be an opportunity to learn more about MOPS and register early to receive a $10 discount. Light snacks will be provided.
Email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or call April Mims at (843) 708-2243. Find MOPS on Facebook at Moncks Corner MOPS.
