One person died after a van ran off the road in Berkeley County Monday. The incident occurred at 2:15 a.m., according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
A Pontiac van was traveling south on Black Tom Road Extension when it ran off the left side of the road.
The sole occupant was killed in the one-vehicle collision, according to SCHP. The vehicle burned at the scene. As of press time the coroner had not released the victim’s name.
