Chief Herb Williams, Mount Pleasant Fire Chief and honorary chair of the American Red Cross Heroes for Fire Victims Campaign, thanked Charles McKenzie of C.E. McKenzie & Associates for supporting a family who lost everything to a home fire.

McKenzie participated in the local Red Cross’ Heroes for Fire Victims Campaign.

The campaign is a fundraiser and community awareness opportunity for businesses, schools churches and individuals to make a difference in the life of a family that has lost everything to fire.

Each $1,250 donation provides emergency relief for one family of four.

McKenzie, who experienced a fire in his home as a young boy, said he knows first-hand the devastation of a home fire and wants to help families in need.
