Covenant Counseling Center holding Gospel Concert Fundraiser

  • Wednesday, July 24, 2013

The Covenant Counseling Center of South Carolina (CCCSC) will be holding what they hope to be an annual Gospel Singing Concert, at the Summerville Baptist Church, Friday, September 20. The Gospel Concert will feature three well-known artists associated with Bill Gaither – Charlotte Ritchie, Wes Hampton, and Doug Anderson and promises to be a sheer delight to the ears.

Proceeds from the event go to supporting the Covenant Counseling Center of South Carolina, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to meeting the mental health needs of people in the Lowcountry. It was organized in 1989 as a Christian ministry and later reorganized into a non-profit counseling center, which welcomes all people. Their Board of Directors is comprised of business and professional men and women who represent many different Christian faiths. Their goal is to never turn anyone away because of the inability to pay.

“In these very troublesome times, we find the need for our services continues to grow” stated  Director, Faye Whittemore. Whittemore added, “We have a very dedicated staff of Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISWs) to meet the needs of our community.”

Tickets are $20 each and Sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $150.
Individuals and businesses may inquire about tickets and sponsorships via the website at www.covenantcounselingsc.com or by contacting Faye Whittemore via phone - 843-832-6324 or by email - jwhittemore@sc.rr.com.
