Townsend Reeves is the valedictorian for the class of 2013 at Wando High School. Reeves heads to the upstate to enroll at Clemson University in the fall where he will tackle a Chemical Engineering major with a Biomolecular Engineering Concentration.
Reeves said Clemson was an obvious choice for him because he comes from a Clemson family where his dad, sister and some other relatives attended and the prestige of Clemson’s engineering program also was a factor.
The memories of the basketball and football games will be some of his fondest while at Wando. One thing people may not know about Townsend Reeves is that he is a history buff. Keil Pierce Lycke was named Wando’s salutatorian. She will attend Virginia Tech. She was named to the 2013 Wando High School SAT Hall of Fame. She is an active member of Grace Episcopal Church. Attempts to reach her for a formal interview were unsuccessful.
