The Goose Creek Police Department needs help identifying a suspect who made purchases with a stolen credit card on May 19, according to a statement released by police.
GCPD has not released a name for the suspect but has released an image taken from surveillance video.
The suspect fraudulently purchased $130 in items from the Walmart in Goose Creek.
On June 11 a Foster Creek Road woman said her husband lost her credit card at an unknown location sometime in May, according to an incident report.
One of the fraudulent transactions on the card was made at the Goose Creek Walmart while other fraudulent transactions occurred in North Charleston. The victim filed an incident report with the North Charleston Police Department in regard to those transactions.
Upon learning of the fraudulent transactions the victim immediately cancelled the credit card. The victim said she wished to pursue criminal charges should a suspect be developed.
