Free Health Clinic

The Sumpter Free Health Clinic (1083 Hwy 35 in St. Stephen), and the South Carolina Free Clinic Association need your help.
The South Carolina House and Senate have both approved in the 2013 budget beneficial money to help free clinics. It is now up to our Governor to approve the line item in the state budget.
If you support what we do, please go to Gov. Haley’s Website at governor.sc.gov/Pages/SendMessage.aspx and send an email asking her to please keep this funding in the budget. Your help is urgently needed.  Let your voice be heard.
If more information is needed, call 825-3550, email ecarr267@aol.com or visit www.sumpterfreehealthclinic.org.
The clinic exists to provide free health care for those with no health insurance and to provide other human need services for those living in the most impoverished, rural areas. Days and hours of operation are Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The clinic is also in need of volunteers to work on Wednesday mornings for three or four hours. Times are flexible.
Different working opportunities are available, and no special skills are needed. Computer skills are helpful.  If interested email ecarr267@aol.com.
