J.K. Gourdin Elementary School’s Gifted and Talented Class ended the recent school year by placing second in the Spring Stock Market Game in the Elementary Division.  The students “invested” $100,000 in real time stock during a 10-week period and finished with a portfolio worth $106,987.23.  This is quite an accomplishment since there were over 100 teams competing statewide.  Above, the members of the winning team are Brandonn Watts, Damon Milford, Sha’Don Gadsden and Casaun Laws.
