Bertha “Bea” Hodge Litchfield of Macedonia, a former pastor’s wife and real estate agent, died Friday evening, June 21, 2013 in a Charleston hospital. She was 89.
Surviving are a daughter, Loretta L. Simmons and her husband, Bill, of Macedonia; two sons, James T. Litchfield and his wife, Gloria, of Macedonia, and the Rev. Herman Litchfield and his wife, Estelle, of Taylors; a sister, Margie H. Lewis of Bonneau; a brother, George F. “Buddy” Hodge and his wife, Betty, of Ladson; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
