Dr. Frank Scott

Scott shares information with locals

Dr. Frank Scott, a Berkeley County native and an orthodontist, serves as president of the American Tennis Association, and he always works to keep his hometown folks in the loop.
He recently shared that plans are under way for the 96th National ATA Golf Championships in Greater Fort Lauderdale in Florida, July 29– Aug. 3.
†He expressed appreciation to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Conservation and Visitors Bureau, members in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington, D. C., and Chicago, and informed them that they may hear radio promotions for the National promotions and have an opportunity to enter for the trip give-a-way to the Championships.
Last year the ATA Board of Directors voted to have a permanent home for the organization. They are very fortunate to being very close to making that happen for the organization. The ATA is working with the United State Tennis Association (UTA) architects and the Facilities Grant Program along with Venus Williams’ “V” Star Productions on the site Plan.
Congratulations to Dr. Scott, as he leads the ATA in achieving their goals and objectives.
