Postmaster shares good news

  • Wednesday, June 5, 2013

Dear Editor:
I’m happy to report that the 21st annual Letter Carrier’s Food Drive was a big success in Huger. Once again, our residents looked into their pantries and gave from the heart, raising a huge amount of food donations to fight hunger in our hometown. This was a huge increase from last year’s total.
Your donation will be used during the summer months by Meals on Wheels to feed the needy. Speaking on behalf of the U.S. Postal Service and the employees of the Huger Post Office, your generosity makes us all proud to be part of this community! We take care of our own.
Gloria Jenkins
Huger Postmaster
