2 Cavs slated to play in SCISA All-Star Games

Dan Brown/Independent -- Dustin Parsons has been selected to play in the SCISA A-AA All-Star game.


The St. John’s Christian Academy Cavaliers will be well represented in this year’s SCISA A-AA All Star Games.
Sara Ham and Dustin Parsons will each play in the respective softball and baseball contests. Ham, a member of the undefeated region champion softball team, was also named the SCISA Region III Player of the Year.
Ham was named to the All Region teams the last four seasons and in 2011 was named to the SCISA All-State squad.
Other All Region players are Julie Robinson, Haley Singletary, Christiana Mitchum, Savanna Taylor and Chastity Weatherford.
The Lady Cavs were eliminated in the state playoffs in the second round of the double elimination tournament. 
Joining Parsons on the baseball All Region team are Dustin Parsons, Luke Hutto, Joe Denton, Evan Hammond, William Brown, Britt Pipkin and Hunter Singletary. The Cavaliers won the Region III championship with an undefeated record.
The Cavs entered the state playoffs as the third seed and were defeated by sixth seeded Clarendon in the first round.
