The board of the Captain Cliff Memorial is proud to announce that it would like to continue the Captain Richard G. Cliff Memorial Scholarship for up to four outstanding students at Wando High School.
These four scholarships will each be a one time $1,500 scholarship designated for a graduating senior from Wando High School upon acceptance and enrollment in a four year university. It is the desire of the committee for the graduating senior to meet the following requirements:
• Citizen of the United States
• Graduating senior of Wando High School, and while GPA is important, it will not be the determining factor for this scholarship
• Be attending a four year university or college and provide proof of enrollment
The Captain Richard G. Cliff Memorial Scholarship Committee, which will determine the recipients of who receive the award, will consider all provided achievements, activities, honors, characteristics and other information. All information that is outlined in the application is focused on defining the applicants’ position in the community, future goals and past honors to determine the best fit for these scholarships.
There will be no bias towards the location of the university to be attended
Any additional information is welcomed.
Candidates for this scholarship are to complete the enclosed application and address it to:
