A Charleston lady got real lucky one evening when an officer found an open beer in her car.
He pulled her over in the first place for not using her turn signal.
When he asked her for the vehicle information, she opened the center console and their was a beer inside of it.
She was asked to step out of the vehicle and, according to the report, the officer searched the car. Nothing else illegal was found. The car was determined to not be owned by her, but by her friend. She swore she knew nothing about the beer can being in the car and denied that it was hers. The beer was just about empty and not cold to the touch. She was let off with a warning for no turn signal and open container and the can was destroyed.
