Reunion planned for St. Stephen High
 
Plans are being made for a 2013 St. Stephen High Reunion.
The reunion – Home for the Holidays: "Red Carpet Affair" – is set to be held on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. until Sunday Dec. 1 at 12 a.m. at FOP No. 19 Lodge, 1320 S. Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner. 
Tickets for $35 are on sale now.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Symposium
 
A Home and Garden Symposium will be held on May 7 and 8 at Hay Hill Garden Market.

Swallow-Tailed Kite
 
Take your binoculars on your next paddle of the Santee River.  The public is being asked to report sightings of the swallow-tailed kite, an endangered-species in South Carolina and considered a species of highest conservation concern throughout its breeding range in North America.

DAR seeks new members
 
The ladies of Berkeley County are invited to join the Daughters of the American Revolution. 
Membership in the DAR honors and preserves the legacy of your Patriot ancestor. Over 200 years ago, American Patriots fought and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. 
As a member of DAR, through participation in the Society’s various programs and activities, you can continue this legacy by actively supporting historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavors.
