Shirley Anne Garrison

Shirley Anne Kotarski Garrison of Myrtle Beach died on April 18, 2013 at a local hospital. She was 81.
Mrs. Garrison was married to William E. Garrison, and was previously married to the late Lester R. Kotarski until his death. She was a retired medical secretary and homemaker.  
A memorial service was held April 30 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Surfside Beach.  
Mrs. Garrison was born in Rochester, NY and grew up in the town of Irondequoit, NY. She was the daughter of the late Gertrude H. and Ralph C. Wilson. She was a graduate of Rochester Business Institute. As a member of the Surfside Trinity Presbyterian Church she sang in the choir.  An artist, she also enjoyed gardening and loved animals.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Gail K. Anderson and her husband, Don, of Grasonville, Maryland, Natasha Kim Schwarz and her husband, Rainer, of Valencia, California, and Jill R. Murray and her husband, Bill, of Sandwich, Massachusetts; two sons, Chris R. Kotarski of Lake Tahoe, California, and Greg W. Kotarski and his wife, Mary Alice, of Moncks Corner; two stepdaughters, Kimberly S. Faust and her husband, Gregg, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Margaret K. Garrison of Ohio; a stepson, William S. Garrison, and his wife, Chris, of Stoneham, Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
