Bev Richardson Cleveland

Moncks Corner native Bev Richardson Cleveland, a Berkeley High School graduate, recently won the Triad Business Journal’s Women in Business Award for 2012.
Cleveland is the Chief Financial Officer of Cone Health Medical Group/LeBauer HealthCare in North Carolina.
As CFO, she manages a multi-million dollar budget and oversees financial operations for more than 800 medical professionals.
Bob Goldstein, Cone Health Executive Vice President, called the honor a well-deserved one for Cleveland.
“She is one of 18 individuals selected from a highly competitive pool of nominees,” Goldstein said. “Bev has been with our team for 26 years and continues to make significant contributions. She has successfully guided her team in forming and executing a solid, user-friendly financial base for more than 243 medical professionals.
“Despite the demands of this job, she has made time to mentor students at The Middle College at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
“We are fortunate to have Bev as part of our team.”
Cleveland graduated from Berkeley Senior High School 1978. She lived in the Kitfield area of Moncks Corner and was raised by her grandmother, Mrs. Beauty Richardson, who still lives in Kitfield and is 92 years old.
Cleveland graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Finance in 1982. She is a “career mother” who always takes time to share and encourage other career mothers.
She has been married for 28 years to Odell Cleveland and they have two sons.
